About Us
Lan-Con, Inc. was started in the 1984 by Jay Giordano. An Arizona resident since 1978, Jay has a wealth of knowledge and experience in creating stunning landscapes and bringing out the best in our Arizona plants and foliage. Jay has also decades of experience in construction and business, so you can count on Lan-Con to design amazing grounds for you at a reasonable price. Jay received his general contractor's license in 1984.
Lan-Con currently employs 15 professionals, so no job is too big or too small. They have a large assortment of professional equipment, including heavy equipment such as tractors, back-hoes and trucks, to cope with our Arizona soils. Lan-Con runs background checks on all of their landscaping professionals.
Lan-Con, Inc. is licensed with the State of Arizona and is insured and bonded.
Gary, Lan-Con's On-site Manager, supervises the day-to-day implementation of the landscape design and site plan. He works closely with each client to insure that their needs are met and that the work stays on schedule. Gary brings over 12-years of experience in all facets of landscaping design and creation. In addition, he has significant experience in mechanical maintenance and construction which serves Lan-Con's clients well. Gary lives with his wife and family in Gilbert, Arizona.
Sandy has served as Lan-Con's Vice-President in charge of Administration since 1984. Her responsibilities include contracts, vendor relations, payroll, receivables/payables, supplies, project materials ordering and inventory. Sandy's over 20-years of administrative management and client relations experience insure that Lan-Con's clients, staff and vendors experience the best service possible. Sandy lives with her husband in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Jennifer currently works as a part-time administrative intern for Lan-Con. Over the years she has obtained considerable first-hand experience in landscaping. From 2000 to 2004 Jennifer worked with the field crews implementing landscape designs and providing on-site client relations. Jennifer is a graduate of ASU and lives in Tempe, Arizona.
Hanna is Lan-Con's mascot and top sales canine. Her enthusiastic personality and up-beat attitude lifts the spirits of all she meets.
